Jeff Cox

Jeff Cox joined M&CO in 2002 as a Vice President, and has over 19 years of experience in commercial mortgage financing. He’s a registered Real Estate Broker and Mortgage Broker in the Province of Ontario.

Jeff works on behalf of real estate developers and borrowers, arranging mortgage financing on their commercial real estate portfolios and developments. Jeff has financed all major asset classes (retail, office, industrial, and multi-family), in addition to arranging CMHC insured, interim, construction, and acquisition loans for his clients. He has successfully completed over $2 billion in mortgages across Canada.

Jeff has a B.Comm from McMaster University. He is married with two children and enjoys skiing, golf, and travelling.

Randy Buckley

Randy Buckley joined M&CO in 1977. He spent his first seven years with the firm in Calgary, and has since been based in Toronto. He is the company’s Real Estate Broker of Record in Ontario and a Mortgage Broker.
Randy has been involved in successful transactions both large and small, totaling many billions of dollars across all asset classes, and in all regions of Canada. He has been recognized, by his fellow Canadian Mortgage Professionals, with a Canadian Commercial Mortgage Broker of the Year Award.
Randy graduated with a B.A. cum laude in Psychology and Economics from Harvard University, and with an M.B.A. from the University of Cape Town, South Africa, studying there on a Rotary Foundation Fellowship. He is married with four grown children, enjoys physical activities, travel, and family time.

Kevin Weir

Kevin joined the Murray & Company team in 2021 as a Senior Vice President of Origination. Kevin brings over 40 years of commercial mortgage and portfolio management experience in the investment division of both the life insurance and pension industry. During that time, he has successfully originated over $10 billion of investments, ranging in size from one million to over six hundred million. Kevin is a registered mortgage agent in both the Provinces of Ontario and British Columbia. With a passion for the real estate and finance business, Kevin is a known professional in every way.

Kevin is a graduate of Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology, York University and a former credited member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada (Ret.) Kevin is a current Board of Variance member for his municipality of Saanich, BC and has served on several professional and volunteer boards.

Raj Joshi

Raj Joshi joined M&Co in 2021 as a Senior Vice President and brings with him over 20 years of commercial and corporate banking experience where he was involved in the structuring, arranging and funding of credit facilities for his clients. He is a registered real estate salesperson and mortgage agent in the Province of Ontario.

Raj works on behalf of real estate and corporate borrowers in arranging financing on their real estate portfolios and borrowing needs. Raj has been involved in arranging financing in all major real estate asset classes including secured and unsecured credit facilities.

Raj has a B.Comm from McMaster University and MBA from Wilfrid Laurier University. He is married with two children and enjoys golfing and travelling.

Nicolas Mastandrea

Nicolas Mastandrea joined M&CO in 2000 and is based in Montreal. With over 30 years of experience in the real estate industry, he has been instrumental in structuring financing for residential, senior residences, commercial, and industrial properties. He has also been involved in brokering sales of real estate assets.

Nicolas has a professional accountant designation, and prior to joining M&CO was an investment advisor for a few years with Charles Schwab. Prior to that, for several years he was Chief Financial Officer of the real estate para-municipal agencies of the City of Montreal.

David Forster

David Forster joined M&CO in 1988 as a partner, and has over 25 years of experience in commercial real estate finance. He is a registered Mortgage Broker in the Province of Ontario.

Prior to joining M&CO, David worked at Morguard Investments and CIBC. He has extensive experience with all property types.

David has a B.A. Honours from York University. He is married with two grown children and enjoys golfing.

John Mastandrea

John Mastandrea joined M&CO in 2022 as a Senior Vice President and is based in Montreal. He brings with him over 15 years of real estate financing experience where he was involved in the structuring, arranging, and funding of real estate financing projects for his clients. He also worked in mortgage insurance as an underwriter for multi- residential properties as well as retirement homes.

John worked on behalf of large developers and corporate borrowers in arranging financing for their real estate portfolio and project development. John has been involved in many major real estate projects in the field of mortgage insurance in the past as well as financing of many different types of real estate assets classes.

John has a B.Comm in finance from Concordia University and an MBA from UQAM. He is married with two children and enjoys golfing, running and travelling.
